The Cincinnati Broomball Association (CBA) is a non-profit organization created in 1992 to organize, promote and grow the sport of Broomball in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Our goals are to provide a social environment while embodying good sportsmanship, health & fitness and representing Cincinnati nationally and internationally. The CBA is also a regional member of USA Broomball and the International Federation of Broomball Associations.
Where does the CBA play?
Since 2000, the CBA has partnered with the Cincinnati Gardens. They offer a great playing surface in their annex building. In the summer, the CBA holds games at Northland skating center, as the Gardens closes the rink during this time.
Costs
Broomball is more expensive to play than other sports - this is because ice-time is expensive - usually more than $200/hr. Unlike many other sports leagues, the CBA does not seek to profit from our players; our main objective is to keep the costs at a minimum. In fact, all of the CBA Leaders mentioned below participate on a volunteer basis.

Fund Raisers & Social Activities
The CBA will occasionally organize off-rink events, such as running such as running concession booths at Party-in-the Park, Riverfest, or Jazz Fest to raise money for our Association. We also host "end of season" picnics & "get-togethers" for our members.
Tournaments
The CBA routinely fields teams for tournaments held all over the country. We have sent teams to the U.S. Nationals, World Championships, and several other regional tournaments.
