Below is a listing of the current CBA leadership's roles & responsibilities.  Remember, the CBA is a non-profit organization.  That means that leadership doesn't get paid for anything they do.  Rather, payment is a warm, fuzzy feeling - It is the phenomena experienced as a result of achieving one's "internal goals".

President- Brian Kaeppner

The President's primary responsibility is to ensure that all CBA activities are in line with long term interest of growing the sport of broomball in the greater Cincinnati area.  Specific duties include oversight of overall marketing & promotional activities, league operations, financial and legal matters.  Currently, the President also serves as the Webmaster for the CBA.

V.P. of League Operations - Kevin Wilhelm

The Vice President is in charge of league scheduling.  This includes overall coordination with existing Team Captains, placing new players, and/or forming new teams.  New teams formed by the VP shall be assigned a Team Captain, on a volunteer basis.   Currently the V.P . also serves as Head Referee for the CBA.

Treasurer & Assistant Treasurer- Paul Estes & Nick Bryant*

The treasurer(s) are responsible for monitoring the CBA checking/savings accounts, writing checks for specific purposes (ie. equipment purchases, fund-raising start-ups, rink fees), and keeping a detailed balance sheet for the CBA.  The treasure(s) are also in charge of filing the annual tax returns for the CBA.

* Paul Estes remains the primary CBA Treasurer, as Nick Bryant is currently coming up to speed in this role.

Special Event Coordinator(s) - Scott Kerth + (open for others also)

The Special Event Coordinator is in charge of organizing specific events, with the aim of delivering a net "profit" that will go toward the general CBA fund.  The CBA may provide start-up funding, assuming there is a clear business case & return on investment. The individual will be responsible for all coordination, logistics, and finances for the specific event.

Equipment Manager - Nick Bryant

The Equipment Manager is in charge of ensuring CBA equipment is ready for action.  This includes keeping a detailed inventory (# of balls, sticks, shoes, jerseys, etc), repairing existing equipment, and outlining items that need purchased / replaced.  This manager will also be in charge of proposing the best methods of obtaining new / used equipment, such as organizing "group purchases" for the CBA and or it's players.
